⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I got to know Emmanuel Isika when I am jobless and an ND student. After applying the community methodologies, I got a job paying 5x of my country minimum wage and 3 offers in foreign startup afterwards. I highly recommend this.

  • I came from a poor-mid class family. My dad told me ‘Emmanuel, go to the university once you are done you will get a good paying job. You know getting a job is hard but once you finish school - job is certain for all graudates.’ My family paid for my tution and all other expenses through their noise. Everything was hard and tough.

During those lectures everyone knows the recent technology and can relate to every practical example the lecturer gives up to my 2nd year except me. I felt inferior and got imposter syndrome.

I didn’t have access to resources to learn - no good mobile phone, no laptop and my allowance wasn’t even enough to buy food not to talk about investing in personal development. Well, I invested in my personal growth anyways and started learning how to code - taking data money from my insufficient food money.

I was really affected. I remember how I went 3 days stretch taking amala (cassava flour) and water (as a means to improvise for soup).

I started thinking about solving problems and this lead me to start my first business as an undergraduate - selling hand-make handouts. Then, real estate agents.

    Things was rough for me.

I didn’t enjoy coding but had to do it because that was the only tech skills I know. I some cashflow from that skills.

I transitioned to marketing in March 2020 and started afresh with an unpaid internship. I got my first paid internship the following year. I love what I do and since then, I have grown and worked as a Growth marketer in foreign companies in India, US and currently at London.

This is why I started PersonaRise to help Introducing unskilled people to the world of tech or upskilling the career of employees in tech.
