How can I cancel a Levellr subscription?

Visit the Manage subscriptions page and enter the email address you used to sign up. We’ll send you a link that allows you to view and cancel subscriptions. If you have any problems, just email us, ideally from the current email address on your account, and we’ll cancel it on your behalf.

How can I use Levellr when I’ve forgotten which email address I signed up with?

How do I report trolling or spam in a community?

Levellr’s goal is to create meaningful income for a generation of creators and community leaders by powering delightful and sustainable fan communities.

We provide a quick and simple way for creators and community leaders to create pay-to-access messaging groups that their most supportive fans pay a monthly subscription to access.

Who is eligible to open a Levellr community?

Creators and community leaders of all shapes, colours and sizes are eligible to open a Levellr community. If you lead, or can build, a decent sized community that shares a passion — whatever it is (within reason) — then Levellr can help you quickly and easily build a private messaging group where your community can hang out and chat.

You should have a proven commitment to your community and be a responsible leader of your community. There is a very strong chance that, since you’re here, this likely comes naturally to you. You must be over 13 years to lead a Levellr community.

What happens if I decide to open a Levellr community?

Firstly you should enter your email address here and the Levellr team will contact you directly for onboarding which is quick and easy.

Once you have been onboarded — your waitlist page (example) will be published in order that your fans and community members can join the waitlist by entering their email.

At the right time — your private messaging community will open and those who joined the waitlist will receive an invitation to subscribe to your community.

(It is also possible to skip the waitlist if you want to.)

Once your community opens — you can start to hang out and chat with fans and community members who have subscribed and joined the private messaging group.

Do I need to download any mobile apps to open a Levellr community?

In most cases we recommend using Telegram messaging service to support your community. You can download the Telegram app for free.

Why does Levellr use Telegram messaging technology?

Telegram is one of multiple third party services we leverage to support Levellr communities. We work with Telegram most often because Telegram provides the features we most value to support safe and secure Levellr communities. Telegram supports features and functionality you will need to create super rich and engaging community experiences. Telegram features also include high quality security including the ability to keep your details private (eg. your phone number) as well as a high speed service even on weak connections.

How are price plans for my community set?

How big will my Levellr community be?

It can be as big as you grow it to be. Technically each individual chat group can have a maximum of 200,000 people but there are plenty of options to configure multiple chat groups to make it work in the best possible way for the size and shape of your community.

How can I know if opening a Levellr community will be worth my time?

Making the decision to open a Levellr community can be based on two key factors:

  1. Your assumptions about how many people will subscribe to your community and what price plans to set.
  2. By setting up a waitlist before opening the community (per steps outlined above) you can validate how much interest you have.

The worst case scenario is that you make the decision not to open a community — nothing lost!

Does Levellr offer any advice and guidance on how to build a thriving community?

Yes — once you have been onboarded you will have direct and ongoing access to expert advice and guidance from the Levellr team. We are ready and excited to help you succeed!

Is there an expectation that I must spend a huge amount of time each day managing the community?

Not necessarily. Your role is to lead and curate a messaging group for your community to chat about the thing that they love to chat about — whether that’s football, baking cakes or playing chess. The community offers the space for your community to chat to each other — as well as to you — so there is no specific requirement to always be ‘on’.

Alternatively — there is also room to curate a super fancy programming schedule including live quizzes, AMAs and special events if you’d like to. It’s really up to you how creative you want to get and the Levellr team can offer expert advice and guidance to help you succeed in a practical and sustainable way.

How will I receive revenue generated by the people who subscribe to my community?

Levellr will make the payment directly to the bank account you provide us with details for on a monthly basis and within sixty (60) days following the end of each calendar month. You will be paid in whichever currency you select during the onboarding process. If you do not use our automatic payout functionality, you will be paid in pounds sterling (GBP, £).

Are there already creators and community leaders with successful Levellr communities?

How will Levellr protect me and the community from haters, trolls and negativity?

And — just in case — Levellr has the power to enforce a second layer of protection and can literally remove users from your community if they do not adhere to Community Guidelines. Will my phone number remain private?

Yes. You can send messages in private chats and groups on Telegram without making your phone number visible. By default, your number is only visible to people who you’ve added to your address book as contacts. Note that people will always see your number if they know it already and saved it in their address book.
